The week I photographed this was a particularly challenging one. I was passing a flower farmers home while on another job and so I asked her if she had any flowers in bloom - it was early winter! To my surprise, she collected these delicate poppies. I was so grateful. Driving home with a smile on my face, thankful to have these blooms to cheer me up. I had a short time that afternoon to photograph them and experiment how to showcase these beauties.
