Actually, creating in general is so good for you.
During the 3 days we were evacuated from our home because of the wildfires, my anxiety was high, I felt incredibly unsettled and it was hard to get grounded.
I am so thankful to be working with an incredible professional to help me work through my anxious feelings and learn how to find my calm. She encouraged me to create and shared how creating and being in the present moment, lets your body know you are safe and helps lower stress and anxiety.
Have you ever experienced this? I felt like I already knew this (subconsciously) but having it pointed out was like a lightbulb for me and now I can create with the intension to find my calm. What a beautiful encourager to create more often!
Harvesting flowers and creating an arrangement takes me into my own world; in this time I am immersed in the present, fully focused on my creation. Time flies by super fast!
